Ford attends Fb Hackathon to create The Social Vehicle

Most of us do not really fully grasp why we would want Facebook in our automobiles, but throughout a current Hackathon at Facebook's Palo Alto campus, the Blue Oval and the new Large Blue merged forces to go beyond status updates and images sharing.

In an hard work to make a truly "social" automobile, devs from Fb held just one of their monthly Hackathons that incorporates some of the social giant's most preferred apps into Ford's SYNC program.

The all-nighter bred a handful of integrated apps that permitted you to check -in anywhere as shortly as you parked your automobile, uncover a restaurant that one of your pals "liked" and even automatically stream tunes that your close friends have posted on their partitions.
